The Last Post

Hello to the readers of this blog. I never got around making a final post on this site because of a few reasons. However, after checking out some things about what readers are checking out on the blog, I decided to make this post. I have stopped making entries to this blog in 2017 because of school. I have since graduated and decided to do something else. The blog will never be deleted because it is important to have something like this online. I enjoyed doing the blog but I did not feel like doing any more blog posts. I was kind of losing interest in doing the blog.

Last year, I wanted to start my Youtube project but Leaving Neverland happened and it changed everything. I did eventually do the Youtube video but I realized that it was too much work and it did not turn out the way that I wanted it to turn out. I was advised to do a podcast and that is what I did. It is a lot of work doing a podcast but I really like doing the podcast.

I want to thank every last one you who read this blog and continue to read this blog. I did this blog to not only state the facts and the truth but to document what happened after Michael was killed in 2009. I hope you all learned something from this blog.

The podcast is called Michael Jackson and the Truth Podcast. You can listen to the podcast on Spotify, Apple Podcast, Google Podcast.

It's So Hard To Say Goodbye

*Please play this classic song from the group Boyz II Men as you read this blog post*

"It's So Hard To Say Goodbye" from Boyz II Men, 1991

June 25th, 2009 was one of the worst days of my life. I was 25, it was a beautiful, hot day and my favorite entertainer died. Ever since then, my life, in so many ways, changed. At the time of his passing, all I thought about was Michael and that lasted for a few months. I had to figure out how I was going to live my life accepting the fact that Michael, who was part of my life, was gone. There are people who do not understand how can a person loved someone they do not know and never met. That is something that I cannot explain fully and only people who know that feeling understand that feeling. Michael was literally like family to me. I would defend him to anyone that ever bashed him. Yes, I get teased and was called "Mrs. Michael Jackson" in high school but I did not care because all I cared about was that the truth needed to be told.

Spotlight Series: Michael Jackson Archives

I am starting a new feature on my blog called "Spotlight Series" in which I spotlight a true fan of Michael's that are doing great things for Michael's legacy. Before Michael was murdered, the media did not do anything on Michael that would focus on his legacy and what his impact in popular culture would mean for the future. After Michael's death, the media showed their phony behaviors and started to state kinds things about him and shifted their to focus on his impact and legacy. I have made a mission with my blog to focus on what is true about Michael and the truth is, the media did plenty of damage to Michael's legacy. I will not watch the media tell people about the greatness of Michael when they participated in the hell that he went through when he was alive. It is a slap in the face to the many fans that literally witnessed the media trashed Michael whenever they can.

There is also division in the Michael Jackson fan community that is so bad that I am convinced that the fan community, online and offline, will never recover. There are reasons of why there is an division in the community and often times, we all have to accept that most of the fans that are causing the division are not actual fans. I stated on my last blog post of 2012, I wanted to focus on the fans in a positive light because I do believe that there are fans out there that really do care about Michael and his legacy. This is where this new feature comes into play. I want to put a spotlight on fans who are doing amazing things for Michael's legacy because Michael dedicated his life making lives of his fans better. I need to do my part and put a spotlight on not just my blog but websites that are done by loyal fans of Michael's.

I want to put the spotlight on a website called "Michael Jackson Archives" that is done by Chris Cadman and Jamison L. (I will not reveal Jamison's last name for privacy reasons.) This website is all about focusing on Michael's amazing career and getting the fans to look into Michael's work for the truth about Michael and not the various stories that the now tabloid media continues to spew. Please read and enjoy this entry and take some time to visit "Michael Jackson Archives".

Random Thoughts Part 5

This fifth edition of the Random Thoughts series and this one will not have a theme. I am going to offer my opinions about a few things that have been reported about the family. I will talk about LaToya being on Celebrity Apprentice All Star edition and what a fellow contestant stated about LaToya's blackness. Michael Jr. and Paris are doing some very interesting things, TJ is asking for money and why I do not care if Michael was supposedly trying to "sabotage" Jermaine's career. Judith Hill is a contestant on the show The Voice, my opinion on that. Finally, my thoughts about why true fans usually do not care what the media has to state about Michael. Enjoy or maybe be stressed out by what I have to state. I can't help how you feel.

Things I Did Not Discuss/State on My Blog

When I do posts for this blog, I make a conscious decision whether or not I need to discuss certain topics or perform Q&A sessions on certain people. At the end of the day, I want the posts to get to the point of why I do this blog. I want the readers to know which blog post I did not do, which subjects in the blog posts I decided not to discuss and why I will not do a blog post on one of Michael's family members. So, I hope you enjoy and learn something about my thought process when it comes to my entries.

The Past and the Future

The year, 2012, is coming to a close and I have been thinking about the things that has happened this past year. There were so many things that has happened this year in the world of Michael. Even though Michael was murdered three years ago, he is still a popular topic to discuss. There is still more work to be done to make sure that Michael's legacy is in tact and that he is not viewed as a money making machine. I want to offer my views about the things that happened this year and the changes that I want to see happen for next year. I also want to make some changes to my blog and how I will approach certain topics. I will also discuss the terrible Sandy Hook School shootings and why I think that there is no one reason why the shootings occurred.

MJ Fans Should Have Limits

Last week, Taj Jackson, the son of Tito Jackson and nephew of the late Michael Jackson, went on his twitter account and express his anger about something. He was angry that "fans" of Michael have been trashing him and his family for almost a year. Taj was simply tired of the harassment and disrespect and wanted to set the record straight. Here were some of the things that he stated on his twitter account -
