Is Something Off About Michael's Siblings?

When we think about our siblings, we think of the relationships that we have with them, how much we love them or loathe them and how much they are a part of our upbringing. Our siblings are the very people that knew us before we knew us. In a normal sibling relationship, when one is in trouble, bashed or hurt, their siblings come to their defense because they are family and that is what family do. We expect our siblings to always be there for us no matter what. If that one sibling is a multi-billionaire entertainment legend, not only do we expect him to take care of his siblings if they are in trouble with financial situations but we expect his siblings to have his back and defend him at all times. We expect Michael's siblings to do that because they are a family. 

Michael's relationship with his siblings were, at one point, amazing. Michael's closeness with Marlon during his Jackson 5/Jacksons eras were well documented. When Marlon met his wife Carol, got married and started a family, Michael developed an extremely close relationship with Janet. They were so close that when Michael would do interviews, she would be a buffer because of Michael's trust issues with the media. Up until Michael's murder, Janet started to have Randy in her ear and when things were not going good for her, she started to become jealous of Michael. Jermaine was the brother that Michael idolized because he wanted to be like him. However, once Michael's popularity started to become legendary status in 1984, Jermaine began to throw hints at jealously of his brother. Randy was the only younger brother Michael ever had and felt the need to protect him because he was basically neglected. However, when Michael was going through his trial in 2005 and afterwards, Randy showed his true colors. 

Probably the biggest betrayal and was the turning point in Michael's relationship with his siblings was when LaToya told the world in 1993 that Michael was a "pedophile". She later recounted her comments stating that she was forced by her then husband, Jack Gordon, to state the vile things about her brother. Whatever the situation truly was, the damaged was done and Michael's relationships with his siblings slowly started to diminished. 

This blog post is about the things that bothered me about Michael's siblings and their unusual behaviors towards him after he was vindicated in 2005 up until now. There are things that the siblings have done to him, his children and his legacy that has bothered me.

Finally, this blog post will be an apology, of sorts, to Michael's children. I will explain on the post the reason why I should have never cared about the family drama back in 2012 and why even though I do stand by what I stated back in 2012, I do feel that if it were to happen again, I will not pay attention to any of it. I hope you all read this blog post with an open mind and learn about Michael's complicated relationship with his siblings.

Random Thoughts Part 6

The theme for this edition of Random Thoughts is anger. Anger is a very dangerous emotion no matter how much you slice it. If one can handle their anger, then they will not use their anger to hurt anyone. At times, I wonder if being angry is the only thing that keeps me from having a nervous breakdown when things are crazy. I have stated it so many times on this blog that I am disgusted by how things are happening regarding Michael's legacy and his family. I am going to explain three types of anger that I am experiencing at the moment. I am angry at a family member of Michael's, angry that Michael's wishes for his children are being ignored. I want to make it clear that the things that I am going to state will anger some readers and I want to apologize in advance because no matter what I state, the readers who will be angry at this post will never truly understand the true suffering Michael went through.

Magazine Scans: Ebony Magazine 1990

The Civil Case between the Jackson Family V. AEG is making headlines almost everyday. This case will determine if AEG are liable and responsible for the murder of Michael Jackson. The case will also make the Jacksons billionaires and one of the richest families in America and the world. The fascination with the Jacksons have been in existence since 1970 and 43 years later, people all over the world want to know what is going on with the the first family of popular music. Back in 1990, Katherine Jackson wrote a book about her famous family called My Family: The Jacksons and Ebony magazine did a cover page article that featured the excerpts from the book. During that time, Michael and Janet ruled the Billboard charts with hit songs and record breaking tours, LaToya was starting to cause problems and the family was slowly becoming tabloid fodder. I wanted to post the article to remind people that at the end of the day, the Jacksons are a family and in all families there is dysfunction. Random Thoughts Part 5

This fifth edition of the Random Thoughts series and this one will not have a theme. I am going to offer my opinions about a few things that have been reported about the family. I will talk about LaToya being on Celebrity Apprentice All Star edition and what a fellow contestant stated about LaToya's blackness. Michael Jr. and Paris are doing some very interesting things, TJ is asking for money and why I do not care if Michael was supposedly trying to "sabotage" Jermaine's career. Judith Hill is a contestant on the show The Voice, my opinion on that. Finally, my thoughts about why true fans usually do not care what the media has to state about Michael. Enjoy or maybe be stressed out by what I have to state. I can't help how you feel.

Things I Did Not Discuss/State on My Blog

When I do posts for this blog, I make a conscious decision whether or not I need to discuss certain topics or perform Q&A sessions on certain people. At the end of the day, I want the posts to get to the point of why I do this blog. I want the readers to know which blog post I did not do, which subjects in the blog posts I decided not to discuss and why I will not do a blog post on one of Michael's family members. So, I hope you enjoy and learn something about my thought process when it comes to my entries.

Random Thoughts Part 3

This is Part 3 of the series Random Thoughts. There is a theme to this entry unlike the previous two. The theme is about protecting, honoring and defending Michael's legacy. In recent weeks, there have been things that has happened that I have not made an blog entry about until now. The recent Vanity Fair article about Michael is another attempt to ruin this man's legacy. Michael is the only major celebrity that passed away in 2009 that the media is still trashing. It is important for a true fan to continue to make sure that Michael's legacy is not a joke but a legacy that should be respected. We have to accept the fact that the executors of Michael's estate do not care about his legacy and uses the paid "fans" that are running message boards and doing blogs about irrelevant topics to repair the damage thanks to the dirty work that Sony BMG and John Branca created for Michael. To expect the estate executors to do something to stop the bashing is like waiting for Popeye's Chicken to bring back their sandwiches - it will never happen.
