Random Thoughts Part 12

This is the 12th edition of my Random Thoughts series for the blog. In this edition, I will discuss my opinions on the sale of Michael's iconic home, Jermaine's interview with Oprah and the reality show that stars his other family members. I will discuss my communication with the Estate of Michael Jackson representative and why I decided to communicate with the person. Finally, even though I was not able to do my tribute to Michael on what would have been his 56th birthday, plenty of people were able to and I will give a rundown on the ones I felt needed to be mentioned. Finally, I will be dedicating this blog post to a few people who are no longer with us. I hope you enjoy this edition.

The Past and the Future Part 2

In a few hours, 2013 will come to an end and as usual, since Michael's murder, he has been in the news almost every day. This year was no different and I like to do a year in review of the things that were newsworthy in the MJ world. I will also discussed the great Nelson Mandela and his friendship with Michael. Finally, I will discuss my plans for this blog in 2014.

The Past and the Future

The year, 2012, is coming to a close and I have been thinking about the things that has happened this past year. There were so many things that has happened this year in the world of Michael. Even though Michael was murdered three years ago, he is still a popular topic to discuss. There is still more work to be done to make sure that Michael's legacy is in tact and that he is not viewed as a money making machine. I want to offer my views about the things that happened this year and the changes that I want to see happen for next year. I also want to make some changes to my blog and how I will approach certain topics. I will also discuss the terrible Sandy Hook School shootings and why I think that there is no one reason why the shootings occurred. 

Update on Michael Bush, Karen Faye and Shana Mangatal

There have been some things that have occurred since the previous blog post. I believe I mentioned this on one of my previous blogs that Michael Bush, Michael's stylist and clothing designer, was teaming up with Juliens Auctions. The same Juliens Auctions that were going to auction off some of Michael's personal belongings including the bed that Michael died in. Instead of Mr. Bush doing the right thing and not even getting involved with the nonsense Juliens Auctions was doing, he decided that he was going to auction off the clothing that Michael wore during his amazing career. When some fans of Michael heard of this, they did what they can to cry foul against the auction. Here is the article that talks about it:

Random Thoughts Part 3

This is Part 3 of the series Random Thoughts. There is a theme to this entry unlike the previous two. The theme is about protecting, honoring and defending Michael's legacy. In recent weeks, there have been things that has happened that I have not made an blog entry about until now. The recent Vanity Fair article about Michael is another attempt to ruin this man's legacy. Michael is the only major celebrity that passed away in 2009 that the media is still trashing. It is important for a true fan to continue to make sure that Michael's legacy is not a joke but a legacy that should be respected. We have to accept the fact that the executors of Michael's estate do not care about his legacy and uses the paid "fans" that are running message boards and doing blogs about irrelevant topics to repair the damage thanks to the dirty work that Sony BMG and John Branca created for Michael. To expect the estate executors to do something to stop the bashing is like waiting for Popeye's Chicken to bring back their sandwiches - it will never happen.

The Michael Jackson Will & Executors - The Facts

This past summer, the Jackson family and the executors of the Michael Jackson Estate had a  public battle in regards to the validity of the 2002 will. The Estate executors turned it into a Jackson family drama/saga/feud thanks to the media, Prince and Paris' tweets (or a fake twitlonger that Prince did and then deleted.), TJ not listening to his grandmother, Katherine "missing", Trent calling the missing person's department and Marlon crying on the tabloid show The Insider to name a few. In the wake of the madness, I wanted to know what exactly is a will, the legal definition. I also wanted to know if the current executors of the 2002 will are qualified to be executors. So, I decided to look into those things and how it relates to Michael and his heirs.

The Jacksons Fight Back Part 3

The family drama continues to unwind. It seems like every day there is a new story and more drama in the family. Everyone has an opinion about the latest issue in the Jackson family.

There are people who feel that the Jacksons are in it for the money and others, like myself, believe that this more about what was stated in the letter and less about the Jacksons wanting money. There is no evidence that proves that any of the living Jackson siblings want Michael's money. The media and the Michael Jackson Estate are spinning the story to make it look as though that is the case and using Michael's children, Prince and Paris, to "prove" their "point" that the Jacksons want Michael's stake in the invalid will. This entry will break down the situation and why I feel it is never a good idea to believe anything coming from the corrupt, evil and manipulative media.

After the drama of the confirmation of the letter, Katherine was reported "missing" by her granddaughter Paris and Trent Jackson, Katherine's nephew. As a matter of fact it was Trent to filed a missing person report on Katherine. How I found out about all of this was when my sister told me that Katherine was missing. I told my sister that I did not want to hear any of it because it was Sunday and I was a tired of the family drama. Later on that day, I had the nerve to go on facebook and twitter while I was in the process of finishing an upcoming blog and saw the crazyiness. At first, I did not want to be part of the foolishness but then it took over me.

MJE – The Games and the Tricks

Nearly two weeks ago, the MJE or the Michael Jackson Estate, release a press release about the upcoming 25^th Anniversary of Michael’s classic album, Bad. The “celebration” will be known as BAD 25 and the Estate along with Sony BMG will be releasing various items to celebrate the milestone.

Criticism of the Jackson Family Part 1

When Michael died nearly three years ago, I was sadden and devastated. I felt horrible for Michael’s family and decided to support and defend his family. As time went by the family started to talk about Michael in the media and would offer their opinions about what happened to their brother/son. At times, the interviews were fine and at times, the interviews were weird. I didn’t mind the conclusion that some family members were stating regarding the conspiracy and Michael’s death being a murder. However, slowly but surely, the Jacksons started to state things that were not relevant to what happened to their brother.

I Refuse To Support the Michael Jackson Estate

I have made it vocal on this blog that I am not a supporter/fan/groupie of the Michael Jackson Estate. Since Michael was murdered in 2009, it has often bothered me how the executors came about, the 2002 will that Michael supposedly signed surfaced and why the third executor decided to not be one of the executors of the estate. On Tuesday April 10^th, the Immortal Tour will come to my hometown Philadelphia at the Wells Fargo Center. That is one of many things that the estate has plans for this year that I refuse to support. I had a change of heart in the beginning of this year when I stated on my facebook account that I was thinking of going to the event. I have heard and read how good it was and I looked online at the prices and saw that the prices were reasonable. I had a plan of how I was going to plan that day.
