There Were Others

I stated on my previous blog entry that I was going to do an entry about other Jackson family members who have flirted with the entertainment business while going to school. (I consider singing, acting and modeling entertainment.) There were fans who were not happy about Paris doing a movie and probably forgot that the Jacksons are an family of entertainers. At the same time, it is not determined if some of the Jacksons who want to entertain, will have the success that Michael and Janet had/have. That is why going to college is not only an option, it is a necessity. That does not just go for the Jacksons , but for anyone that wants to jump into the entertainment business because they see money and success. It does not happen to everyone and that is the harsh reality. Getting an education guarantees that a person who has one has a back-up plan when things look gloomy when they are out there looking for success in the entertainment business. 

What About School??

When I was on Facebook nearly two weeks ago, I read that Paris Jackson, the only daughter of Michael, was going to be on Ellen, I thought it was a lie. Ellen has always loved Michael and often played his music on her show so I had no issue with Ellen as a whole. However, I did not understand why Paris would need to be on her show unless she was promoting something.

On my way to work this morning, I went to a book store to ask the register if they had change for $20.00. As I was looking at the register, I saw the new issue of People magazine and saw Katherine with Prince, Paris and Blanket on the upper left hand side of the cover. I was shocked because I did not expect to see them on the cover.

Revelations and Realizations

This week, I was told that two blogs on my blogroll were Sony supported blogs. I am not going to get into the details on how I was told and who told me. That is not important. What is important is that I do not want my blog to be associated with anything that is pro-Sony and pro- MJ Estate. I am not going to mention what blogs that are in question, I am just going to delete the blogs this weekend. I want people to read my blog and know that it is coming from a true fan and not a paid Sony plant that is told to blog about certain things just to distract the fans from the bigger picture. 

MJ Fans Should Have Limits

Last week, Taj Jackson, the son of Tito Jackson and nephew of the late Michael Jackson, went on his twitter account and express his anger about something. He was angry that "fans" of Michael have been trashing him and his family for almost a year. Taj was simply tired of the harassment and disrespect and wanted to set the record straight. I had a chance to purchase the David Gest  documentary of his good friend, Michael Jackson, almost three weeks ago. I wanted to find the time to actually watch the film so I can have an overall opinion of it. So on November 13th, I watched the film.

Murray Found Guilty

On Monday November 7, 2011 former doctor Conrad Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in the death of the music legend Michael Jackson. The jury took, altogether, 9 hours to come to an unanimous decision to convict the now convicted felon. The verdict was announced on 4pm EST, 1pm PST around the world and on the Internet.

David Gest, a friend of the Jackson family, has done a documentary on one of his best friends, the late, great Michael Jackson. The documentary is now out on DVD and was originally supposed to be in theaters.


These three videos that I will post have to do with what the DVD documentary will feature. I have not watch the documentary as of yet because I want to buy the DVD and watch it. (Hopefully, it is out already.)

Ok, So Maybe

I was wrong about the Forever Michael tribute that happened in the UK on October 8th, 2011. I was wrong about how it was all going to come about. When I went on twitter and facebook that day, I was reading updates on the concerts and I was shocked that people were stating that the concert was actually good, even solid.
So, I decided to read a few articles about the tribute. I wanted to read articles that simply discussed the concert and what happened in the concert. Here is one article I read about the concert -

My View of the Conrad Murray Murder Trial

Since Michael was murdered, I have stated that justice must be served in this trial and I was hoping that the parties who were involved in the trial are either being called to testify or at least charged for his murder. Then, reality set in - I found out that the very people that I believe had something to do with his murder (Dr. Klien, Thome Thome, AEG, John Branca & Sony, etc.) were not on either witness lists. I also found out that the district attorney who indicted Murray, Steve Cooley, received contributions from Branca's law firm and AEG.

An Interesting Theory -

Probably a week and a half ago, I was on my facebook account and I was reading the statuses on my timeline. I saw this audio clip that one of my friends on facebook posted. It was an entertainment report segement from the Tom Joyner Radio Show that was talking about the Conrad Murray Murder trial. In the audio, entertainment reporter and one of the hosts from the TV tabloid show, the Insider, Kevin Fraizer offers his theory about this case. Tom Joyner, the host of the radio show, also added his two cents. Here is the audio -

$30M - Is It Enough?

This week, the Michael Jackson Estate released documents to the media of the payment that Katherine Jackson and Michael three children, along with unnamed charities will be receiving. In the documents, as told through this article -

The estate was able to pay off the debts that MJ had before his murder through the "This Is It" movie. They were able to refinance the catalogues that MJ had, MiJac and the Sony/ATC catalogue. The article also states that since Michael's murder, the estate has made over $310 million dollars.

I have been a member of various MJ theme message boards over the years and I have never been fully accepted on these message boards.
